Quidditch is a game created by the great writer J.K. Rowling for the Harry Potter's universe. It has created a preferent space in our hearts and likes for sports, becoming one of the best activities to do.
From the English Area it is always interesting to learn how to play Quidditch, because it is motiviting, inviting, creative and it implies physical movement.
In addition, since it is a game, it provides students with a great opportunity to practice the imperative forms, follow rules and becoming familiar with the vocabulary related to the Wizard World.
Here we see the organization and a picture of how much fun pupils have had playing it:
Do you want to play Quidditch as well? Here's how:

Phonics Hunt!
English language can be tricky... but not for us, right?
I propose a game you can play with your family. It is a Phonics Hunt. You will need a sand clock (the one from the Trivial board will do), and paper and pen. You could use as well some coloured cartons.
Here is the game:
You will have to go over the alphabet (I'm sure you already know it!) and randomly choose a letter. Let's take "C" for instance. Now, within 30 seconds on the clock, you and your family will have to find and select realia objects you can find in your environment which starts with C! Like clock, couch, cup, etc. The one that find most of them win the round.
Do you find it too easy??
Great. Now you will have to pick a place: a farm, for example. And do it again, picturing which items could you find in a farm! Let's leave our imagination fly!!
Here you can find some phonic games online... if you dare to try! 😎

Monuments
Do you know there are lots of monuments you do not know about? They are weird, old, and from different periods of history, like...
Here we see four of them... are those old cars making a structure? A shark going into a building? What is happening? Are there raining sharks? SHARKNADO!
You can use many different adjectives to describe monuments, and they do not have to be the classic, and lovely, ones. You can have fun finding out about different monuments, buildings and sculptures all around the world!
Go and see!

Are you Grinch-y?
Sometimes we may be as naughty as the Grinch..
However, there are many adjectives to describe the Grinch, don't you think?
Which of these you think suit the Grinch?
Are there any more? Let's get artistic! Fill the Grinch's face with the necessary adjectives, with colours as green as him!
Think of how those adjectives can suit you as well... And put examples!
Here goes one: I get angry at holidays because I am not at school!
Come on! Remember... be nice and have fun!
